This is my submission for the Kill Navarre contest for [link] . I must say it was fun to draw.

Oh come on, we all knew that if I was gonna draw these guys as pokemon, of course there would be a pokemon battle eventually!

This would have gone a lot better if I had photoshop or something, but I don't so...I traced bits and pieces of the sprites of the characters from my game. >_<

Actually, all the moves that are used are usable by the actual pokemon, so I guess I get points for accuracy there or something.

Speaking of accuracy, I guess this is kinda accurate to actual pokemon-style gameplay, but I didn't get the damage calculations right, there's no "Rage" status, and how a level 40 Meganium can survive a STAB Dark Pulse from a level 55 Darkrai with TWO NASTY PLOTS under his belt is beyond me! Ah well, win some, lose some.

But I had a lot of fun with this one. Especially the last two panels.
